Alexander Zverev has started off well at the Laver Cup. The German was up against John Isner in his first Group Stage clash in which he managed to emerge victoriously. Although Isner stretched Zverev as much as he could, Zverev kept his cool under pressure and ended up winning the clash in the final moments.

On the other hand, young Canadian tennis sensation Felix Auger-Aliassime lost his first group stage clash against Matteo Berrettini. Although Felix won the first set, he was unable to capitalize on the good start and allowed the game to slip away from him. Felix will now take on Zverev in his second match at the Laver Cup.

He thrashed Isner in his first match and will walk down as the firm favorite against Felix Auger Aliassime as well. On the other hand, Felix, who hasn’t started the tournament on a positive note would be itching to make a comeback by going past Zverev.
