Daniil Medvedev vs Hubert Hurkacz: Preview
Daniil Medvedev is one of the most improved players since the resumption of tour in 2020. This year, he reached the final of the Australian Open and made it to the quarterfinals of the French Open. Last week in Mallorca, the Russian won his first grass court title and has carried the momentum at the All England Club this week.
He was handed a very tricky draw but Medvedev managed to survive the initial round scares and make it to the Round of 16 for the first time. He beat in form Jan Lennard Struff and Carlos Alcaraz in the initial two rounds before coming from 2 sets down to beat Marin Cilic in the third round.
As for his opponent, Hubert Hurkacz, he is the only player left in the tournament who hasn’t dropped his serve yet. He has defeated Lorenzo Musetti, Marcos Giron and Alexander Bublik this week and was looked absolutely flawless on serve.

Daniil Medvedev vs Hubert Hurkacz: Prediction
Daniil Medvedev would go in as the favorite to win the match on paper but but he will be wary of Hurkacz’s recent form. The Pole will give his absolute best to beat Medvedev and has the right weapons to do so. But Medvedev too seems to be in amazing form and will fancy his chances for a maiden quarterfinal outing at SW19. Expect Hurkacz to take a set from the Russian but Medvedev should prevail into the next round.
Prediction: Medvedev to win in four sets.
