“Season isn’t finished yet,” 3 Grand Slam titles not enough for Novak Djokovic as he eyes the Davis Cup title with Serbia
Novak Djokovic talked about how important the upcoming week is for him as well as for his countrymates as he wants to fulfill his goal of achieving the second Davis Cup.

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic has been on a different level this year with many tennis fans 2023 as the best year for the Serbian. With three Grand Slam titles in his bag and a couple of Masters 1000 titles as well, the rumors are that the veteran player must be thinking about resting his body for a while and stress it too much for the long run.
But after his third group stage ATP Finals matchup against Hubert Hurkacz, Djokovic arrived at the post-match match conference talking about how he still feels that there is still are lot of space left to fill in his 2023 trophy galore. Apart from targeting the seventh ATP Finals title, the Serbian is also looking to grab another Davis Cup for his country with all to play for next week.

Novak Djokovic has already booked a place for himself at the semis of the ATP Finals thanks to a Jannik Sinner show against Holger Rune, the Serb talked about how important the upcoming week is for him as well as for his countrymates as he wants to fulfill his goal of achieving the second Davis Cup. He said,
“The season is not finished yet…But the Davis Cup is next week, so I would really like to win the Davis Cup with Serbia.”
Novak Djokovic’s view on the upcoming Davis Cup
Tennis fans feared that Novak Djokovic would start to lose his urge to drive to betterment but he has come up with another goal for himself. He aims for the second Davis Cup having won it back in 2010. Djokovic feels honored to have been part of the Davis Cup Final 8 which will start next week. He also stated that the 2010 triumph is one of the fondest memories that he looks back on.

He said,
“I’m excited to be part of the Serbian national team at the Davis Cup Final 8 in Malaga. I’m looking forward to it. It’s always a great honour and privilege to represent Serbia on the big stage in Davis Cup. We had one title back in 2010. It was one of my fondest, most beautiful memories on a tennis court – being able to share that with my friends and colleagues from the national team.”
