“It was very difficult to follow his rhythm. He was very nice both on and off the court and it would be nice to have more role models like him. But it will remain unique. It was good to be on the court with him a few times. I keep good memories, even if I lost each time. It was always special to play against him,” he said.

Adrian Mannarino and Roger Federer have played against each other seven times but the Frenchman has always failed to win against the Swiss legend.
