The Australian Open 2022 saga was a forgettable event for Novak Djokovic where he was disrespected and deported due to covid vaccination-related issues by the Australian Government. After a change in the Australian Government as a result of the federal elections in May 2022, Djokovic and tennis fans were expecting a change in the policies applied to Djokovic which banned him for 5 years from competing in Australia starting in 2022.

But with the release of the promotional poster last week by the Australian Open Official Instagram page which has No Novak Djokovic in it, fans are going crazy under the comment section where the majority are seen asking Djokovic to be allowed to play. On a side note, the top 5 players other than Rafael Nadal and Stefanos Tsitsipas are also not seen in the poster including the likes of Spanish World No.1 Carlos Alzaraz and Two-time Australian Open finalist Daniil Medvedev.

Will this be an actual indication that the tournament’s best player ever won’t be featuring in the next year also? or do we have some surprise posters awaiting? Let’s find out in the coming days.
