“I don’t like you anymore,” Alex de Minaur hits back at Jannik Sinner playfully after a tough final at Rotterdam

Australian tennis star Alex de Minaur had yet another tough match against Italian ace and reigning Australian Open champion Jannik Sinner. The 25-year-old lost his seventh match in a row to Sinner when he was defeated in Rotterdam. While de Minaur was all praise for the Italian after the match, he joked about not liking him on Instagram.
After ending his campaign at the ATP 500 tournament as the runner-up, de Minaur shared a post on Instagram where he joked about not liking Sinner. The Australian shared pictures with Sinner where the two are posing with their titles and then wrote an interesting caption.

Jannik Sinner also saw the funny part of de Minaur’s post as the Italian dropped a smiling emoji in the comment section of the Instagram post.

Alex de Minaur promises to get back at Jannik Sinner
After losing yet another match to the Italian ace, Alex de Minaur promised to get back at Jannik Sinner when they face each other next time. After Sinner beat de Minaur 7-5, 6-4 in the Rotterdam final, the Australian lauded Sinner and claimed that he was playing at an incredible level.

De Minaur further warned Sinner saying he will get him back next time. Notably, Alex de Minaur has lost all seven matches played between the two players.

Talking about Alex de Minaur’s season so far, it kicked off on a high as the Australian beat three top ten players- Taylor Fritz, Alexander Zverev, and Novak Djokovic at the United Cup. The 25-year-old then did a great job to enter the fourth round at the 2024 Australian Open.
De Minaur then directly played at the Rotterdam Open and made the most of it, reaching the final. He beat Sebastian Korda, Andrey Rublev, and Grigor Dimitrov on his way to the final. This performance has boosted de Minaur’s rankings as he moved to a career-high ranking of World No.9.
