Alexander Zverev set to face trial in May

The outrage around Alexander Zverev is getting louder with each passing day as fans question tournament organizers about their decision to persist with someone who is set to face trial in a domestic violence case. Also, Zverev facing allegations of domestic violence only makes the situation worse.

The German tennis ace has been accused of physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Brenda Patea, who is also the mother of their child. While Zverev was asked to pay a hefty fine by a Berlin court a few weeks ago, he refuted Patea’s claims and challenged the court’s decision.

As a result, Zverev will face a trial in May. Although he will not have to be present physically for the trial, it will decide if the allegations made were true. In the first domestic violence case, Zverev was given a clean chit by ATP, which could not find any conclusive evidence.

Now, it is to be seen if Zverev gets another clean chit or if it will go against him. In any case, the fans would continue to thrash Zverev, like it has been happening for the past few months.
