“All are male,” British television personality Piers Morgan takes a sarcastic jibe at Emma Raducanu over women empowerment advert

Emma Raducanu, the 2021 US Open Champion recently starred in a commercial for HSBC Bank, which is one of her sponsors. The advertisement portrayed how Disney princess characters like Cinderella and Rapunzel have established that women do not need the support of their male counterparts to excel in life. Emma Raducanu also stated in the commercial, “They have used their brains, imagination, and good sense to earn enough money to look after themselves without a Prince Charming in sight.”
Famous British Journalist and television personality, Piers Morgan was quick to ridicule Emma and her advertisement. This ad did not sit well with the British, who said, “Of course, we all know, the best way to improve the aspirations of women is by trashing men. As Emma said, women don’t need men at all. She certainly didn’t need men to get to where she is today… except her father, who manages her career, and her five coaches who are all male.”
This is not the first time Piers Morgan has targeted Emma Raducanu. He is known to be outspoken and talks about pretty controversial topics. He took a dig at Raducanu for stating that women did not need men to succeed. Morgan sarcastically pointed out all the important men in Raducanu’s life from her father to her coaching team as well.
Talking about all the other men in her life apart from her father, Morgan added, “There is her agent Max Eisenbud who is very, very good at maximizing her income… despite the fact he is a man. And then in a final twist of this tale of virtue signaling treachery, it turns out the chairman, chief executive, and chief financial officer on HSBC’s board of directors are all men too.”
Emma Raducanu was spotted at the Paris Fashion Week
The 2021 US Open Champion, Emma Raducanu has had a long break from the sport and is missing in action on the court. However, off-court she has been very active and was recently spotted at Dior’s Spring/Summer 2024 event, stealing the spotlight with a black dress.
Emma was sitting in the front row, observing how models were walking on stage displaying the different attires designed by Dior. She was at this event last year as well. Lately, she has been very active off-court. She starred in an advertisement for HSBC Bank as well. Fans are eagerly waiting for Raducanu to make her comeback in the sport.
