“All covid restrictions are beyond stupid,” Clay Travis baffled by Novak Djokovic not allowed from entering the USA despite playing the US Open last year

Novak Djokovic, the 35-year-old Serbian has been subject to many controversies due to his stance regarding the Covid-19 vaccine, the Serbian has made it clear multiple times that he has no plans on getting vaccinated anytime soon and it doesn’t matter to him how many tournaments he missed due to this.

The latest development is Djokovic’s ban from the US Open which has caught every headline for weeks now, even an exemption would likely be useless for the Serbian as the tournament organizers made it clear that they will be following the guidelines of the US government which bans unvaccinated foreigners from entering the country.

Outkick owner Clay Travis took to Twitter to express his disbelief on Djokovic not being allowed to enter the United States to participate in the US Open despite playing last year when the Covid-19 situation was way worse than it is right now, Travis also added that there is minimal proof that the vaccine reduces any chances of contracting the disease.

The US Open has also ruled out exemptions for any players which have ruled out every possibility of the Serbian playing in the US Open, that is unless he gets vaccinated, which will not happen. In his podcast, Clay Travis elaborated on Djokovic not being able to participate this time around, he said, “Novak Djokovic played last year in the US Open even though he didn’t get a COVID shot, We know the COVID shot doesn’t stop or prevent you from having COVID. In fact, there are arguments out there that the COVID shot can make you more likely to get COVID.”

“The existing data right now suggests that not only does the COVID shot not work, they may be doing more harm, especially to young and healthy people if they hadn’t got the COVID shot at all, so why in the world is the United States not allowing Novak Djokovic to come to the United States. Why in the world are they not allowing him to play?” Travis added further.
