Former World No 1 Novak Djokovic is undoubtedly one of the best players the sport has ever seen and has inspired millions with his grit, determination, and resilience on the court. Despite facing several challenges and issues at the very beginning of 2022, he has always fought back brilliantly and managed to stay in his best form.

With that being said, former tennis legend Ana Ivanovic recently discussed the iconic rivalry between the Big 3, blatantly declaring Novak Djokovic’s superiority over Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. As per the tennis star herself, Novak is currently the best player in tennis history, as he has been at the top of the game for a very long time now.

For those uninitiated, the Serbian legend missed several tournaments because of his unvaccinated status against the COVID-19 virus, especially the Australian Open and all the tournaments in the North American swing, including the US Open. The Year-end Championship in Turin is the last tournament of the ATP tour, where the top-8 players aim to end the year on a perfect note. Djokovic got qualified for the tournament on the special rule that allows a player ranked between 8th to 20th to get qualified based on the Grand Slam title win despite being out of the Top 8.

The Wimbledon champion will be aiming for his sixth title at the ATP Finals to end on a pleasant note and gain some much-needed points in order to better his rankings. He lands in the toughest draw- the Red Group along with Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas the team leader, and Andrey Rublev. This group can also be termed as the group of death, given the ruthlessness of these 4 players on indoor hard courts.
