While the preparations for the US Open have begun, players have already set foot on the court to undergo their practice sessions. On Saturday, Andy Murry was also seen practicing a game of tennis ahead of his first-round matchup against Corentin Moutet, which takes place on Tuesday. While coming out to practice, something unusual was captured under the camera as Murray completely ignored Stefanos Tsitispas, who was walking just by his side.

Murray looked to be concentrating on his kit bag ignoring his peripheral view which led to the tennis fans discussing vividly the duo’s past experiences against one another on social media. One fan uploaded the video on Twitter (now known as X) along with the caption, “Do you know what I like about this video? I like that Andy didn’t even look at Stefanos.”

Some fans are indicating that Murray’s actions are being enforced because of what happened between the duo two years ago here at the US Open when they met each other in a first-round clash.

Andy Murray and Stefanos Tsitsipas had a huge heated-up moment with each other during the match. Tsitsipas had taken a bathroom break in between the game and it took the Greek a long time before coming back on the court. This led to Murray losing his cool and questioning the match umpire about the event making the situation worse.

Murray expressed his concerns to the umpire about how a person can spend 20 minutes in a bathroom between matches. He went along to question the fairness of holding Tsitsipas guilty of wasting time uselessly. After the match, Murray was angry with the Greek; he got knocked out of the competition, leading the match after three sets.

He went on to mess things up right after the bathroom row that took place during the match, which resulted in him losing the fourth and fifth sets, with the final score standing at 2-6, 7-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.
