“Answer 100%” Serena Williams’ former coach Rick Macci confirms her return to professional tennis

Serena Williams is all set to make a comeback to professional tennis according to her former coach Rick Macci. The former world No.1 has been one of the all-time greats for tennis. It has been because of the impeccable performances that she deserves that title.
However, her last game came at the French Open and Wimbledon last year. At the french open, she wasn’t considered to be able to compete but she did make it into round four where she faced defeat. Suffering from an injury she went to Wimbledon and she wasn’t able to hold up and decided to forfeit the match.
From that time onwards fans have been waiting for the legendary Serena Williams to make her comeback into professional tennis and win her 24th grand slam title to tie the record of most grand slams won by a single person.
However, she is 40 years old, and taking a practical approach might suggest that it would be nearly impossible for her to come back and win a grand slam. Nevertheless, if there is a person in the world who has the power, the courage, and the ability to do that it is Serena Williams.

Rick Macci announces Serena Williams’ return

On Tuesday, Rick Macci who has coached Serena Williams and is close friends with her was asked if Serena will be coming back to tennis and he replied by saying, “Everybody is asking me if SERENA is going to play tennis again. ANSWER 100%.”
The former world No.1 making a comeback to the coming up Wimbledon could be a dream come true story for tennis fans all over the world. Although pretty far-fetched, Wimbledon has been the slam which she has won the most number of times. This means if there are chances of her winning a grand slam again it is at the Grass court on Wimbledon.
It will be exciting to see her play again probably for the final time in front of a crowd that has witnessed some of the most amazing performances of her career.
