The rules and regulations of the Next Generation ATP Finals
It is an annual exhibition tournament organized by the ATP. It only pertains to the best under-21 category of men’s tennis professionals in the season. The tournament was first held in 2017 in Milan, where the next four editions of the tournament were also hosted. However, no ATP rankings are distributed during the course of the tournament.
The rules of this tournament are quite different from the other major ATP tournaments. It includes a best of five sets, with each set being won by a first-to-four-game victory. It also comprises a round-robin format of two groups, and the matches take place over the course of five days.
