British tennis player Jodie Burrage has said that she is highly inspired by Belarusian player Aryna Sabalenka, who recently won her second Grand Slam title at the 2024 Australian Open.
The 24-year-old British player, who is currently ranked second in her nation, said that she has started to follow more tennis matches to learn different aspects of the game from different players.

She wants to learn the mental side of the game from Aryna Sabalenka because Burrage believes that the Belarusian has figured that aspect out.
There's obviously a few players that you want to take parts of their game from, and someone at the moment who has really figured out her mental side is Sabalenka.Burrage said.
Burrage faced Sabalenka in the second round of the 2023 US Open and lost to her in straight sets. The World No. 88 said that she learned a lot from that match and that she has followed Sabalenka’s results a little bit more since then.
I feel like we are similar in the fact that we're both not... she's obviously not silent on court, I'm definitely not silent on court either. And it's trying to channel that in the right way. And I think that's what she's figured out right now.She said. (Source: Eurosport)
Jodie Burrage recently reached the first WTA 500 quarterfinal of her career in the 2024 Linz Open by defeating Jacqueline Christian in the second round. In the quarterfinal, she met Jelena Ostapenko and lost to her in straight sets.
Aryna Sabalenka is set to feature in the 2024 Indian Wells
The entry list for the women’s side of the 2024 Indian Wells has been released and the WTA event will be jam-packed this year as all the top-10-ranked players will be participating in the tournament, including Australian Open winner Aryna Sabalenka.

The Belarusian defended her title successfully in the first Grand Slam of the year, and that too in style. She did not lose a single set throughout the tournament, and that has set the tone of her campaign this year. The Belarusian has made massive improvements in her performance, and that could be seen in her match against Coco Gauff in the semi-final.
Last time, she lost to Elena Rybakina in the final of the Indian Wells to lose out on the WTA 1000 title after defeating Coco Gauff and Maria Sakkari, respectively, in the quarterfinals and the semifinals.
The Belarusian also lost to the Kazakh recently in the final of the 2024 Brisbane International. She would want to redeem herself by winning the tournament this year, and she is definitely in good enough form to do that.
