Besides being one of the best players in the women’s tennis circuit, Aryna Sabalenka is also one of the most fun players out of the lot, and she proved that once again in a recent interview. 

In an interview ahead of her Indian Wells campaign, Aryna Sabalenka was talking about the toughest moments in the life of a tennis player when she made a fumble that led to a very funny moment.

She was trying to say that when she is not feeling great, not playing well, and away from her family, friends, and boyfriend, it is one of the toughest moments. However, she used the plural with her boyfriend and broke out in laughter upon realizing her mistake.

I don’t know, I think the toughest moment is, like, when you’re really down, like you’re not feeling great, you’re not playing at a great level, and you’re away from your family, from your friends, from your boyfriends.
Sabalenka said before pausing and bursting out in laughter. 
No, I have only one, guys, I wish, so one more time.  
She clarified immediately afterward.

She recently won her second Grand Slam title at the 2024 Australian Open and will thus head into the tournament high on confidence. However, the Belarusian will be up against tough competition from Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, and others. 

The Belarusian is set to take on Emma Raducanu in the round of 32 at the 2024 Indian Wells.

Who is Aryna Sabalenka’s boyfriend? 

Aryna Sabalenka has been dating her boyfriend, Konstantin Koltsov, since 2021. Konstantin Koltsov is a former Belarusian ice hockey player who has competed in the Olympic Games two times.

He has played professional ice hockey for 18 years and he briefly played for NHL side Pittsburgh Penguins. 

Konstantin Koltsov has three sons from his past relationship. Aryna Sabalenka, on the other hand, was also engaged to someone before her relationship with Koltsov and she never revealed her fiance’s identity.

However, that is in the past now and the two Belarusians have been pretty happy in their relationship for the last four years. 

Unlike most other athletes, Aryna Sabalenka mostly prefers to keep her relationship private, and a huge credit for that goes to Konstantin Koltsov because he has a private account on Instagram and is not very active on social media. However, he has still appeared in several snaps that were posted on Sabalenka’s account.
