With the war going on, some players gave their comments on the situation. Ons Jabeur made her thoughts clear on the war. “What innocent civilians are going through is indescribable; no matter what their religion is, or what their origin is. She stood with Palestine and circulated the hashtag free Palestine over her social media.

Another former tennis player and activist Martina Navratilova also expressed her views on the war. With Israel wanting all Palestinians out of Gaza, Martina tweets a hilarious message on X“ Where are these people supposed to go? Swimming?” said the 66 old former world champion.

With the recent updates about the bombing and Israel stripping Gaza of basic amenities, Martina is showing her concern for the people of Palestine. With that being said, there is no denying that the war not only affects the people and the countries involved but also indirectly affects other parts of the world.
