Semifinals

In the first quarterfinal between Tommy Paul and Karen Khachanov, the American is likely to register a strong victory over the Russian. Hubert Hurkacz is expected to beat Alex de Minaur, as he is in sensational form currently.

The third quarterfinal might be played between Zverev and Paul. Zverev will be the clear favorite to win that match. In the fourth quarterfinal, Casper Ruud is likely to beat Felix Auger-Aliassime.

Thus, the first semifinal will be played between Taylor Fritz and Hubert Hurkacz, while the second semifinal will be played between Casper Ruud and Alexander Zverev.

Final

Taylor Fritz will most definitely beat Hubert Hurkacz in the final, unless the Polish international pulls off a shocking move. The second semifinal will probably be won by Alexander Zverev. Thus, we might see a Zverev vs. Taylor Fritz match in the final of the 2023 Japan Open.
