Rafael Nadal has been preparing religiously for the upcoming US Open 2022 Championships with coach Carlos Moya. Just a few days ago, Carlos in an interview with Tennis Actu talked about the Spaniard and his team’s plan for the future and the Flushing Meadow cup.

In an interview with Carlos Moya, tennis enthusiasts were presented with the fabulous opportunity of being advised by him and answering questions forwarded to him. On asked about sharing his experience at the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center at Sani Resorts, Carlos quoted, “That’s great. It’s like being on a vacation. I brought my children here. I’ve already been coming twice and I hope there will be a third time.”

There is no hidden fact in acknowledging Carlos holds Rafael in high esteem as when asked what values would he like to share with the participants, Moya praised Nadal’s work ethic and team spirit, he said, “The values of Rafa. His work, his ethic, his attitude, fighting all the time, respect for opponents, team spirit,” as he further added more in his player’s admiration.”

“We miss Federer,” Carlos Moya on a possible sighting of the Big Four together at the Laver Cup

There’s no surprise in admitting the tennis world missed Roger Federer in action, who’s been away from professional time for some time now due to his knee operation. Tennis Actu upon asking Carlos whether we’d see the Big Four namely Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Andy Murray in action again together at the upcoming Laver Cup, he seemed rather upset about having these champions long enough to see their last and best of them while quoting, “We will miss them in the future so let’s take advantage while are still active.”

Nadal currently is all set for his performance at the US Open and hopefully dominates his way through adding his 23rd Grand Slam trophy to his mantle.
