Sporting organizations have always been strict about doping issues, and when an athlete is suspected of doping, they are banned for a few years, backtracking their career. In tennis, a couple of years mean a loss of important time and age, which may be career-ending.
British star Tara Moore was banned from tennis for a long 19 months as she tested positive for a few substances while competing.

She tested positive for nandrolone and boldenone while competing in Bogota back in 2022. After constant appeals and even longer waits, the Brit was cleared of all changes. Moore was released free from a hefty 19-month ban.
Upon being cleared of all charges, the 31-year-old took to the internet to express her disappointment in the organizations and how the long wait had taken multiple tools on her. Not only age, but the Brit had lost a lot in those 19 months that continued to daunt her.
However, the past comes back to haunt her as the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) appeals against the clearance of Brit Tara Moore.
The tennis career of Tara Moore is in danger as she gets in the firing range of the ITIA yet again
The ITIA is a highly professional organization that sees to the player’s safety and fair play. With the recent number of doping instances, the whole agency has become extremely strict with the rules, and once at fault, a player suffers a huge ban.

Tara Moore, once a World No.1 in doubles had recently been cleared of a doping ban but the ITIA isn’t quite happy about it and looks to appeal against her clearance.
The 31-year-old had already lost valuable time in her career and will now be under trial, posing a possible career-ending threat. If the ITIA is successful in proving Moore guilty, the Brit would have to face more time off court.
Moore played her last match back in 2022 and has since not played any games due to the ban. Other than her, there are a few more players who are under consideration for the doping test. Spanish star Rafael Nadal has been a major target for doping malpractice, as many suspect the 37-year-old to have doped. With many careers in the hands of ITIA, they hold immense future-changing powers.
