Renowned actress and tennis star Andre Agassi’s ex-wife Brooke Shields a few years ago recalled a bizarre incident involving Agassi that happened on the set of the famous sitcom Friends. Shields made a guest appearance for an episode to play the role of Erika Ford in the episode The One After the Super Bowl in season 2.

She revealed how jealous and angry Agassi was during that scene. He stormed out of the set when he saw her character flirting with Joey (Matt LeBlanc). In the storyline, Joey gets some fame after his debut on Days of Our Lives as Dr. Drake Ramoray and then meets a crazy obsessive fan, Erika. She is totally into him and considers him to actually be Drake rather than Joey.

Shields recalled that Agassi visited the set while she was filming the episode. “Andre visited the soundstage to watch me shoot my Friends scene,” she wrote in her memoir. “In the scene, I played a crazed fan who begins licking Joey’s fingers and throwing my head back with maniacal laughter.”

Shields narrated that she saw Agassi storm out of the set in anger after he saw her licking LeBlanc’s fingers as a part of the script. He believed that she has made him look like a fool and hence he drove back to Vegas.

“As we were shooting the second pass of the same scene, I saw movement out of the corner of my eye. Andre had stormed off the set. At cut, I ran outside to find him and had to yell to him from the doorway so as not to get wet from the suddenly pouring sky. He said I made him look like a fool by licking Joey’s fingers, and he got in his car and drove all the way back to Vegas,” she recalled.
