American tennis legend Martina Navratilova found herself in hot waters as she took aim at Caitlyn Jenner.

As Navratilova criticized Jenner for her claims about the Democratic Party destroying families in the country, the former tennis ace seemed to go over the line as Navratilova attacked Jenner for three divorces.

The 67-year-old tried to downplay Jenner’s claims that he is rooting for Republican candidate Donald Trump in the upcoming elections. Navratilova made a personal attack when she highlighted that Jenner has had six children with three different wives and then declared her a hypocrite.

Martina Navratilova said while criticizing Caitlyn Jenner

This led to Jenner hitting back at the former tennis star. She looked disappointed at the personal attack made by Navratilova and hence asked the 67-year-old to not come after her family. Jenner also called Navratilova a hypocrite for supporting Democrats who advocate for the inclusion of trans athletes in women’s sports.

Last time I checked @Martina I raised one of the most successful families in the world, with the most amazing women - their mothers - by my side. You’re the hypocrite. You support dems that want men in women’s sport, ruining Title IX. Don’t ever come after my family! Tasteless!!!

Martina Navratilova does not sit quietly as she hits back at Caitlyn Jenner

This post from Caitlyn Jenner, criticizing Martina Navratilova for dragging the former’s family into the argument, got a lot of traction and also reached the tennis legend. Navratilova did not sit quietly, as she justified her stance as well as her previous post.

The 67-year-old said that she never wanted to drag Jenner’s family and instead, it was an attack on her directly. Navratilova again highlighted the fact that Jenner has been divorced thrice. 

I didn’t come for your family. You said Dems are ruining families. You’re the one who divorced 3 x. Nothing to do with your family- it’s all about you and only you. Also- I am not a one issue voter so there is that.

Notably, Navratilova has been against the participation of trans athletes in women’s sports. However, she is against the Republicans for their ideology. Jenner, being a Donald Trump supporter, is targeting the Joe Biden government on the issue, but Navratilova seems to be focusing on the larger picture. 

Meanwhile, Jenner is flagging the support the Biden government is providing to trans athletes. It is worth mentioning that Jenner herself played women’s golf.
