Carlos Alcaraz shyly makes celebrity crush confession as a tough choice ensues between Margot Robbie and Dua Lipa

In a recent light-hearted interview with Babolat, Carlos Alcaraz revealed his celebrity crush. The Spaniard was confused in the beginning on being asked the question but after some musing, he revealed that he likes both Margot Robbie and Dua Lipa. Either of them could be considered to be his celebrity crush. 

Alcaraz is considered to be the ‘next big thing’ of the tennis world, alongside other young players like Jannik Sinner and Holger Rune. He has already won two Grand Slam titles at the age of 20 and has a bright future ahead of him. The Spaniard is currently the second-ranked player in ATP rankings behind Novak Djokovic.

The interview where he revealed his celebrity crush was conducted in a car by Babolat and posted during the 2024 Australian Open, where the Spaniard has reached the third round so far. The player is pretty shy and does not reveal much of his personal life.

I don’t know, uh, it’s so tough to say. A few days ago I heard an interview Stefanos [Tsitsipas] and he said Margot Robbie. It could be [her].--Or Dua Lipa could be also [my crush].

This is the first time that he has opened up about celebrities he likes. In the same interview, he also said that Rafael Nadal would make a good tennis coach due to the tons of experience he has in his arsenal. 

Alcaraz has looked sharp in the tournament so far, having won the first two matches pretty convincingly. He is the second seed in the 2024 Australian Open and also one of the favorites to win the tournament. The 20-year-old had a great season in 2023 and he will hope to continue the run in 2024 as well. 

Carlos Alcaraz is set to face Shang Juncheng in the third round of the 2024 Australian Open 

Alcaraz will face China’s Shang Juncheng in the third round of the tournament today. The two players have never faced off against each other so far and this will be their first match. Alcaraz is definitely the favorite, being the second seed and a much higher-rated player than the Chinese.

Both players will head into the third round after great four-set battles in the second round. Alcaraz defeated Lorenzo Sonego while Juncheng beat India’s Sumit Nagal in the second round (both in four sets) to proceed to the third round of the tournament. The winner of this third-round match will probably face American Tommy Paul in round four.
