The Spanish sensation Carlos Alcaraz stunned the tennis world by winning his first Wimbledon by defeating Novak Djokovic, stopping him from making history by crossing Roger Federer’s Wimbledon record. Novak hasn’t lost on Centre Court since 2013 and has a winning streak of 27 matches in Wimbledon. Despite losing the first set, Alcaraz kept his cool throughout the match and ended up taking home the coveted title.

After the match, Alcaraz revealed how a text message from a fellow Spanish champion himself helped him win the match. When asked about the messages he received, he expressed his excitement to Marca, revealing that one message stood out among the rest. It was from none other than Rafael Nadal himself. Alcaraz shared that Nadal had sent him a message before his match, wishing him luck, and later, after his victory, congratulating him. The young tennis player expressed that receiving a message from Rafa was particularly thrilling and made the experience even more special.

Spanish Motorsport racing driver Fernando Alonso, Hollywood actor Will Smith, basketball player and close friend Jimmy Butler, and artist Sebastian Yatra dedicated a song to him.
