Caroline Wozniacki jokingly blames herself for daughter’s growing interest in tennis as US Open run continues

Former World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki made the entire tennis world go wayward after her impressive win in the third round of the ongoing US Open setting up an exciting round of 16 clashes against one of the most prominent youngsters of the the present day, Coco Gauff. During the on-court post-match conference, she was asked about whether her daughter is in tennis as well or if she is finding some similarities or not.
Caroline was excited to answer the question revealing her daughter’s interest in the sport and how much of a determined kid she has been for tennis in the last couple of months. Caroline shared the enthusiasm of her daughter who wakes her up every day in the morning urging her to take her alongside for the training sessions.
She also shared that Olivia, her daughter shares a bit of temper which is quite similar to her, and that she is up for the challenge of molding another tennis player out of her daughter in the future. She said, “I definitely see myself in her. She’s very determined. She has a bit of a temper. She wants to play tennis. Every morning she wakes up & says ‘Mama, let’s play.’ I have it coming for me, that’s for sure.”
How has Caroline Wozniacki looked at the US Open so far?

Having made a comeback in the sport after three long years, Caroline just participated in two tournaments ahead of the most coveted US Open. It was her first Slam participation in over three long years and it didn’t take long for a champion like her to settle in as he knocked off Tatiana Prozorova in the first round encounter by a straight sets 6-3, 6-2 win.
Then, she faced a huge task in the second round up against 11-seeded and experienced tennis star Petra Kvitova thumping past her in straight sets yet again.
She won the match by a scoreline of 5-7, 6-7 which pretty much announced her return to form, and the whole tennis world went made after her comeback win last night against Jennifer Brady setting up a thrilling encounter against young Coco Gauff who has been in tremendous form winning three of the last two competitions she has played in.
