Novak Djokovic is undoubtedly one of the greatest tennis players of all time, with 22 Grand Slam titles to his name. But it seems he’s not content with just being a player, as he recently admitted that he would love to coach Australian player Nick Kyrgios. Djokovic believes that with his guidance, Kyrgios could win several Grand Slam titles. Kyrgios is known for his talent on the court. He has often been criticized for his attitude and lack of discipline, but Djokovic sees something in him that he believes he can mold into a champion.

Many tennis experts agree with Djokovic’s assessment, including Radmilo Armenulić, who is a recognized tennis expert. Armenulić believes that Djokovic and Kyrgios have a similar temperament and would get along well. He also thinks that Kyrgios could really reach a Grand Slam with Djokovic as his coach. “I think that would be the right thing, a good combination. Nole and Kyrgios have a similar temperament. I believe that they would get along well and that Kyrgios could really reach a grand slam, as Novak says,” he said.

Despite Djokovic’s potential interest in coaching Kyrgios, there are some concerns about his own coaching situation. Goran Ivanišević, who has been working with Djokovic as a coach, was not present at the Serbian Open in Banja Luka, which surprised some observers. Without Ivanišević’s guidance, some questioned whether Djokovic would be able to perform at his best.

– I don’t see Goran Ivanišević in Banja Luka and that surprises me. I don’t know why that is. As a coach, he should be with Novak, because that is important for Nolet. As far as I can see, only Marko, Novak’s brother, is there,” Radmilo said. Regardless of his coaching situation, Djokovic showed that he is still a force to be reckoned with on the court at the Serbian Open. Even though he faced tough competition, including from up-and-coming player Luke Van Asch, Djokovic was able to come out on top.

Novak Djokovic is one of the most successful tennis players in history, but even he is not immune to the effects of aging. At the age of 35, Djokovic has to prepare differently for matches and according to tennis expert Radmilo Armenulić, the role of the coach is more important than ever. Armenulić believes that Djokovic is not currently in top shape and that his concentration and physical abilities are not what they used to be. This is where the help and advice of a coach become crucial. If Djokovic plays like this against top players such as Stefanos Tsitsipas or Medvedev, it will not bode well for him.

However, Armenulić also believes that Djokovic has not been surrounded by a respected and experienced coach. Goran Ivanišević, who has been working with Djokovic as a coach, is relatively new to coaching and does not have the same level of experience as some of Djokovic’s past coaches. Armenulić thinks that Djokovic would benefit from returning to his former coach, Marjan Vajda, who has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the tennis world.

Vajda and Djokovic had a strong relationship in the past and Armenulić believes that this partnership would be the best solution for Djokovic‘s current coaching needs. While Ivanišević is currently Djokovic’s coach, Armenulić suggests that time must pass before he can develop the same level of understanding with Djokovic that Vajda had. As Djokovic continues to compete at the highest level, the role of his coach will undoubtedly play a key part in his success.
