The American however, has seen a dip in form for most of the 2023 season so far. She has had 5 early-round exits in 6 tournaments starting from the Miami Open this year. Suffice it to say that Gauff has had an underwhelming season so far.

At the ongoing Rothesay Championships at Eastbourne, however, the American teen has seen some decent form. She dispatched doubles partner and fellow American Jessica Pegula in straight sets in the quarterfinals. This victory propelled her into the semi-finals, where she will face another compatriot, Madison Keys. The run at Eastbourne so far has instilled a sense of confidence in her, and she now believes that she can do well at the upcoming Wimbledon.

With her sights set on the Wimbledon draw, she is eager to demonstrate her capabilities and make a lasting impression at the All-England Club. Could the upcoming Wimbledon be the tournament where she finally wins a maiden Slam? Stay tuned and check the latest updates at Firstsportz to find out.
