Coco Gauff has been enjoying her break from the courts in a cheerful way. The 19-year-old made history this year, becoming the first teenager to win the US Open since Serena Williams in 1999 and the first American since 2017.
This was one of the standout seasons of her career finishing the season with a career-high ranking of No.3 at the WTA singles ranking. After the season came to an end the teenager was seen enjoying her vacations.

She is seen attending music concerts, training in the gym, and spending some quality time with her family. Gauff regularly posts her videos on her social media handles for her fans.
In one of the posts, Gauff is seen playing squash. Squash is a game played with a racket too, but it is very different from tennis. As expected, the video went viral, eliciting a plethora of reactions online.
In one of such videos, the teenager replied that it was only her second time playing squash. Moreover, she added in a sarcastic way that she doesn’t even know what she’s doing.
The American said earlier that she wants to try different sports every week and also added that tennis is the best racket sport ever. Gauff will return to court in 2024. However, her schedule for the 2024 season is still to be released.
How good is Coco Gauff?
The young American has been one of the standout performers in the last couple of years. Achieving a career-high ranking of No. 3 in WTA singles and No. 1 in WTA doubles is not a joke for a 19-year-old. The skillset is already there for everyone to see. It is only up to her how much hard work she puts in to give direction to her career.

After turning pro in 2018, Gauff has till now competed in all of the Grand Slams. She has won six WTA singles titles in her career so far. The young teenager won her first Grand Slam this year, winning the 2023 US Open.
She defeated Belarusian tennis star Aryna Sabalenka 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 in the finals of the US Open. The 19-year-old also reached the finals of the French Open 2022 but was defeated by Iga Swiatek.
In this season, Gauff also won the ASB Auckland Open, the Western and Southern Open, and the Mubadala Citi DC Open. Winning this lot at this tender age is a testament to skill and talent, and she is only going to get better from here.
It is a little early to say, but if the teenager continues to carry herself in this way, she is surely going to break a lot of records. Her fans will hope that she comes back from her break and moves forward into the next season with the same momentum.
