Daniil Medvedev fighting hard for a title
Daniil Medvedev is finding it hard to win a title ever since he won the Rome Masters last year. The Russian tennis ace, ranked No. 4 in the world, has reached five finals after his win in Rome last year. Out of the five finals, two have been in Grand Slam tournaments, two in ATP 500 tournaments, and one in ATP Masters tournament.

Medvedev’s biggest foe has been Jannik Sinner. Out of the five finals played, Medvedev has lost three against Sinner and one each against Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic. In the 2024 season so far, Medvedev has been phenomenal, reaching two finals and a semifinal.
However, a title has eluded the Russian ace. Medvedev lost to Sinner in the 2024 Australian Open final. he then lost to Ugo Humbert in the Dubai Tennis Championships semifinal and now Alcaraz denied his maiden Indian Wells Open title.
It is to be seen how long before Medvedev manages to break the title drought. The 28-year-old will next be seen in action at the Miami Open and will be hoping to make it count with a title-winning performance.
