Novak Djokovic was indestructible in the final match of the French Open against Casper Ruud. The 36-year-old showed what it means to be a 23-time Grand Slam title winner. His defense was impenetrable, and Casper Ruud was lost for responses against the Serb. Though the score line was 7-6, 6-3, and 7-5, the match was fought hard at both ends. But eventually, Novak Djokovic came out on top of the contest.

Novak Djokovic‘s reaction after winning the match was euphoric, to say the least. The celebration was fitting for a player who won his 23rd Grand Slam title and became the only player to do so. It was a glorious victory and a glorious celebration.

The Serbian just fell on the court with a very content smile on his face and did not get up for a few seconds. While the whole court ruptured into applause. The court reverberated with the same emotions exhibited by the greatest tennis player. Everyone waited patiently for the star to get up and congratulate his opponent at the other end

The player then ran inside to his box, and there were celebrations galore. He exchanged warm hugs with his kids, wife, and parents. The emotions and happiness of the Djokovic family were palpable. The Serbian wore a Lacoste jacket with 23 etched on the right side.

Djokovic’s camp had his family, wife, kids, and his parents all rooting for the man. They went from excitement to rapturous emotions as the 36-year-old won at the 2nd Championship point. Novak Djokovic quickly went to his box and hugged everyone endearingly. Though Casper Ruud lost the match his camp was applauding for the champion too. Casper Ruud’s camp had a thoughtful sentiment, reflecting on the 2 weeks that passed.

Later on, Casper Ruud thanked his team and his camp applauded the Norwegian for his brave display throughout the tournament. This was the third Grand Slam final for the World No. 4 in the last 5 Grand Slam tournaments that he has played. Ruud congratulated Djokovic’s team for their hard work and perseverance. He also congratulated his team for sticking by him. And he also added he would continue to push the same way.
