American prodigy Coco Gauff is considered to be one of the upcoming WTA players and has managed to make her place among the elites at such a young age. She went on to create history by becoming the youngest player to qualify for the WTA Finals since Maria Sharapova in 2005. She shared pictures on her social media account as she watched the latest released Black Panther movie along with her brother Codey.

She is yet to win a Grand Slam title but has managed two titles on the WTA Tour. She reached the finals of a Grand Slam for the very first time at the French Open but lost to the dominant Iga Swiatek. She has had her fair share of ups and downs in the year as she announced the end of her 2022 campaign after the loss at the Billie Jean King Cup. She thanked her fans for their incredible support and hopes to make a strong comeback in the next year.

After the end of her 2022 season and to enjoy some relaxing time ahead of the new season, she went to watch the recently released ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever‘ since she is a big fan of the Marvel series. But what caught everybody’s attention was the caption of her social media post that said “this is why representation matters,”. The Black Panther series strongly depicts the black culture and is widely appreciated for its depiction.

Coco Gauff has always admitted that the Williams sisters have been her inspiration for her passion to play tennis. To appreciate the black culture, she and her brother wore matching t-shirts as she shared two pictures on her social media accounts. One picture was clicked in the ‘Wakanda Forever’ pose while in the other picture, Gauff’s brother was clicking a selfie in front of the movie poster.

Coco Gauff Gauff played a total of 104 singles and doubles matches at the WTA tour level. She successfully made her debut in the Top 10 singles ranking as well as in the Top 5 doubles WTA rankings. She and her doubles partner Jessica Pegula were the first Americans to qualify for both the singles and doubles categories at the year-end championships since Serena Williams and Venus Williams in 2009. But she lost all her group stage matches at the WTA Finals and was disheartened with the loss and hopes to perform much better next year.
