Italian tennis player Lorenzo Musetti is expecting his first kid along with his partner Veronica Confalonieri, according to the Italian tennis publication Ubitennis. Reportedly Musetti shared the good news with the Italian Davis Cup team, the couple are expecting the baby next spring. The couple made their relationship official through a series of photos shared on social media, last December.
Currently playing in the Davis Cup, Musetti helped Italy clean sweep Team Chile 3-0 in Group A of the Davis Cup, held in Bologna. The Italian pulled off the trending ‘dialed-in‘ celebration after his win in the doubles encounters against Chile. Heading into the tournament, Italy suffered a huge blow as the world’s no.7 Jannik Sinner pulled out of the tournament.
Musetti has earned quite a reputation for himself in the tennis world. Since making his ATP main draw debut in February 2020, he has won two ATP championships. Both of them came in the stunning 2022 season, winning the Tennis Napoli Cup and the Hamburg European Open. Before turning professional, he reached the final of the 2018 US Open boys’ singles and won the 2019 Australian Open boys’ title.
