Felix Auger-Aliassime, the 22-year-old Canadian professional is undoubtedly one of the top prospects of the current ATP circuit. Ranked at world number 7, Aliassime is surely a contender for the Australian Open title, and with so many big names already eliminated from the competition, Aliassime has a good chance at going all the way.

The Canadian has been shutting his critics up with excellent performances at the ongoing Australian Open and has been debasing the rumors of the ‘Netflix curse’. The players appearing on the popular Netflix series, “Break Point” seem to get eliminated early on and Auger-Aliassime has been debasing these theories after continued excellent performances at the 2023 Australian Open.

Talking about the curse, Aliassime said, “I was aware that players were losing, but it didn’t cross my mind until my girlfriend showed me that. I thought it was funny, I don’t think it’s connected. Maybe, those who lost do feel it’s connected somehow.

After yet another excellent showing at the 2023 Australian Open, Felix Auger-Aliassime has successfully made it to the fourth round of the tournament. The Canadian professional faced Francisco Cerundolo in the third round of the tournament which he won in four sets.

Aliassime only dropped the second set but was quick to recover after that drawback as he gave no chance to the Argentine to make a comeback and get back into the game. The Canadian professional continues to prove his haters wrong after continued excellent performances.

He will now be going up against Jiri Lehecka at the Margaret Court Arena tomorrow. The Canadian goes in as the heavy favorite to win the match and make it even further into the Australian Open.
