Felix Auger Aliassime has been in terrific form this week in Italy. The Canadian steamrolled past Lorenzo Musetti in the semifinals in straight sets, dropping just five games. He survived a minor scare in the second round, where he was pushed to three sets by German Oscar Otte. In the quarterfinals, he again brushed aside American Brandon Nakashima in straight sets.

Felix Auger Aliassime has not had the most ideal year on tour, however he will look to end the season on a high. Meanwhile, J.J. Wolf can be deemed as a surprise finalist in Florence. The American has been on quite a run, defeating some higher ranked players on his way to the finals.

J.J. Wolf defeated Mikael Ymer in straight sets in the semifinals. The 23-year-old toppled the seventh seed Alexander Bublik in the last eight battle, after being a set down. He also defeated fellow American Maxime Cressy in straight sets in the second round.

Barring a hiccup in the second round, Felix Auger Aliassime has been utterly dominant this week. The top seed has been broken just once in the last two matches, and has been serving really well. J.J. Wolf is not among the best servers in the game, and he will have to be on top of his serve to be on the same footing as his opponent.

J.J. Wolf enters this contest as an underdog. The 23-year-old will look to put pressure on the Canadian early on in the encounter, as Felix Auger Aliassime has a tendency of making unforced errors when put on the backfoot.
