Twitter reacts to Casper Ruud’s heart-breaking loss at the US Open finals
Ruud had lost to the 22-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal in the finals of the 2022 French Open who denied his chance to win his first major title. Ruud got another chance at the US Open finals but Alcaraz, another Spaniard other than Nadal lengthened his wait for his maiden title.
Ruud showed a lot of composure and a cool demeanor during the post-match interview where he was disappointed in not winning but also happy about the fact that he has reached his career-best rankings and that is something he is excited about and hopes to continue with his great form.
It was a bit of bad luck for the Norwegian star that he had to face two different Spaniard players in the finals. After back-to-back losses in the finals, people encouraged the Norwegian player to chin up and come back stronger.
