Lehecka, the seventh seed, signaled his intentions early on with a brilliant serve. He promptly broke Korda in the second game. The American, son of 1998 Australian Open champion Petr Korda, was unable to hold off the Czech’s unrelenting onslaught.

Lehecka’s dominance on the court left Korda unanswerable, and the game went quickly, finishing in a one-sided encounter that confirmed Lehecka’s spot in the final.

The Czech player’s ability to dominate the game was clear as he dictated the pace and executed precise shots.
