Bianca Andreescu has been a part of the WTA tour for quite some time. She has also won a grand slam i.e., the US Open in 2019. This year has seen her renaissance of sorts in women’s tennis. She missed out on the Australian Open, Indian Wells Open, and Miami Open earlier this year due to injury. She was back to play the Stuttgart Open but was defeated by Aryna Sabalenka in the Round of 16 matches. She was then defeated by Jessica Pegula in the Round of 16 matches of the Madrid Open.

In Rome, she was defeated by Iga Swiatek in the quarter-final. Next, she participated in the Roland Garros but was defeated in the second round by Belinda Bencic. In Berlin Open, she could not advance into the third round succumbing to Plíšková in the second round. At Wimbledon, she was defeated by eventual champion Elena Rybakina in the second round. Bianca Andreescu vs Petra Kvitová : Prediction

Petra Kvitová

Petra Kvitová has had a host of injuries this season. This has affected her performance. Also, she could not play as well as she would have desired on the hard court as she would have liked. But it will be foolish to undermine the Czech player in any way. Bianca Andreescu is young and quick but the two-time Wimbledon champion may have some tricks of her own. Yes, the 2019 Wimbledon champion is in better shape and form than Kvitová, but still it would be a difficult test for her to beat the 2016 Rio Olympics Bronze medalist.

Prediction: Petra Kvitová will win this match in three sets.
