“He takes care of every little detail and even brings his own food “Cameron Norrie on Novak Djokovic
Cameron Norrie, in an interview, upon being asked about his professional growth, credited the 21-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic‘s behavior and attitude have helped him to become a better version of himself in every sense; be it his game plans or his attention to detail attitude. He revealed that he is trying to extract maximum performance out of himself and he is pushing himself to the absolute limit just like the Serbian keeps fighting to save each and every point.
He further in the interview recalled the times when he found that the Serbian is a lot more detail-orientated than the Brit himself. He said “I’ve seen him bringing his own food to events in little Tupperware things. That is even more meticulous than bringing your scale with you. I would like to think that he is doing the same and the same method to take care of little details like that.“
He also revealed regarding his struggles and how he is trying to cope with the conditions while finding the right rhythm to get going. He even went on to say, “I am still struggling with the conditions a little bit and trying to find the rhythm. I just got through with my attitude and stayed positive. I managed to find myself at one set all, I don’t know how and the last set was a battle, he had some chances and I played a couple of good points.“
The Brit will face the American Ben Shelton in his third-round match at the Cincinnati Open with the hope of making a deep run at Cincinnati ahead of the US Open 2022.
