The Southern & Western Open’s last round of eight came bearing warm and heartfelt Twitter reactions towards Medvedev as he cheered up the Taylor Fritz after humbling him out of the ATP Masters 1000 Tournament with a straight set score of 7-6(1), 6-3.

The Russian professional undoubtedly aced through the match with play statistics indicating a ridiculous 18 aces fired in just a time capsule of one hour and 38 minutes. Daniil who faced the American for the first time surprisingly won despite match predictions in favor of the World Rank 12 professional.

Witnessing the completion of the match, the 26-year-old humbly provided comfort to Taylor Fritz stating, “Sorry for the first set, you deserved it. Sorry!”, urging Tennis Twitter to praise and applaud him for being humble and a good sport.
