The Kazakhstani tennis player, Alexander Bublik loses his temper and rants explosively. During his match against Stan Wawrinka at the ABN AMRO Open in Rotterdam, Bublik’s frustration reached a boiling point as he faced his ninth consecutive defeat. This prompted him to an outburst while trailing in the second set against his double’s partner in the same tournament.

Bublik lost in straight sets against Wawrinka 7-6(7-5), 6-4. He has a history of outbursts on the court, exemplified by his quick succession of breaking three rackets during his match against Gregoire Barrere at the Open Sud de France. However, he is facing huge criticism from the fans and the tennis world for his on-court behavior.

Alexander Bublik’s year hasn’t started well, with disappointing losses to Hubert Hurkacz and Stan Wawrinka at the United Cup, followed by a straight-set defeat to David Goffin in his first match at the ASB Classic. His struggles continued during the Australian Open, where he was knocked out in the first round following a thrilling five-set encounter against Fokina. In addition, Bublik, currently ranked 50th in the world, suffered losses in both of his matches at the Davis Cup Qualifiers.

It was during the second set, when he was trailing 4-3 he couldn’t control his cool and yelled out saying “I’m complaining how stupid this f*****g sport is because it is f*****g stupid. Playing tennis is a headache.Fans started slamming him and tweeted saying him to leave the sport and take up a desk job.

Alexander Bublik breaks three racquets in succession

During the first-round match at the Open Sud de France, Alexander Bublik faced defending champion Gregoire Barrere, who was aiming to retain his title. While Barrere took the first set 6-4, Bublik made a comeback in the second set by saving three match points. This led to a deciding set that also went into a tiebreak. However, Bublik suffered a meltdown while trailing 0-6 in the tiebreak of the third set.

He smashed his racquet with which he was playing and then went on to smash two of his other racquets too. It was a clear violation of the rules and he is involved in a big controversy. Although he lost in the singles of the ABN AMRO Open in Rotterdam, he is still playing the doubles along with Stan Wawrinka. The duo stunned the second-seeded pair and advanced into the quarterfinals.
