The former world No.3, Stan Wawrinka makes a funny comment on Neymar’s lifestyle during a show earlier this week. Stan had gone to the PSG club doctors for his treatment recently and talked about it in the show. After expressing his disappointment in Sergio Ramos recently for his behavior on the pitch, he now mocks Neymar for his lifestyle.
This certainly indicates that Stan does not have much liking towards the PSG players. The three-time Grand Slam title winner expressed that he has a better lifestyle than Neymar and hence Neymar often gets injured. The Swiss is currently playing in the Open 13 tournament before which he was at the PSG training center for his rehabilitation.
During his appearance on the RMC Sport show, the Super Moscato Show, Stan Wawrinka was asked about his rehabilitation period at Camp des Loges, the PSG training center. In response to a joke by Vincent Moscato, the Swiss tennis player didn’t hesitate to take a jab at the number 10 player in Paris.
When the host said “He’s not the same doctor as Neymar, I hope because otherwise, your career will end quickly,” everyone laughed about it before Stan replied saying “I don’t have the same lifestyle as him.” And to his reply, everyone in the show burst into laughter as all took his comments on a lighter note.
Stan Wawrinka continues his good form in the Open 13
Stan Wawrinka had a mixed season so far in terms of his performances and results on the court. He started the year with an intense five-setter in the Australian Open but lost unfortunately. However, he made a comeback in ATP Rotterdam and reached the quarterfinals but lost to Jannik Sinner in straight sets. The 37-year-old didn’t give up and is currently playing in the Open 13 tournament.
He had reached yet another quarterfinal after two hard-fought matches. However, winning against the seventh seed, Richard Gasquet will certainly boost his confidence and helps his game in the upcoming matches. Stan has been in good touch in the match against Gasquet by hitting 13 aces and winning 4 breakpoints. Fans will certainly be delighted to this veteran play his natural gameplay he is known for in the upcoming matches.
