‘I was so f***ing petrified man’ Naomi Osaka narrates a bone-chilling incident of shooting at the Barclays Center after the Davis vs Romero Showtime pay-per-view fight

4-time grand slam champion Naomi Osaka took to social media to shockingly report a shooting incident outside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Osaka, like other thousands of fans, had gone to see the Gervonta Davis vs Rolando Romero Showtime pay-per-view fight in the arena. As the people were vacating the arena after the fight, there was an active shooter present outside the arena and gunshots were heard.

There was a sense of panic amongst the fans as they rushed back into the arena to take cover. As of now, everyone in the arena is safe and there are no casualties reported.

Needless to say, there were many eminent personalities attending the fight and one of them was Naomi Osaka. The Japanese tweeted that she suddenly heard shouting and saw people running and that is when she got to know that there was an active shooter. She then expressed her fear and revealed everyone locked themselves up in the arena.

“I was just in the Barclays center and suddenly I heard shouting and saw people running, then we were being yelled at that there was an active shooter and we had to huddle in a room and close the doors, I was so fucking petrified man,” she tweeted.

“I really hope everyone made it out safely, since I’m tweeting this we made it out ok,” she added.
