Over the years we have seen several youngsters and other players on tour have heaped praise on 21-time Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal mainly on his humility and exceptional behaviour. He is always eager to help out a youngster, practice with them and shares some tips with them.

Recently Norweigian tennis star Casper Ruud shared his experience with the Spaniard as he highlighted how Nadal was very humble as he also shared how people would not even know that the man has won 21 Grand Slam titles if they met him on the streets. He even shared how Nadal never takes his success for granted and takes each and every match seriously.

“If you met him (Rafael Nadal) in the street, you would have no idea that he had won 21 Grand Slams, because he’s very humble, and never gets ahead of himself. He always takes every match and every day seriously,” said the Miami Open finalist.

Currently, both Casper Ruud and Rafael Nadal are all set to feature in the Italian Open as they prepare for the upcoming Roland Garros. While Rafael Nadal will start his campaign in Rome against United States of America’s John Isner, Casper Ruud will look to get off to a winning start as he faces Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp.

Rafael Nadal has returned to the ATP tour in good condition as he played a sensational match against David Goffin in Madrid and followed it up with another gruelling encounter against compatriot Carlos Alcaraz when he lost the match. He got some great match practice and will be looking to get more matches under his belt in the Italian Open as Roland Garros approaches. The Spaniard will be eager to bag the title in Paris especially after winning the Australian Open this year.
