Iga Swiatek drove a brand new Porsche around the court to mark her 13th WTA title win back in 2023.

Iga Swiatek drove a Porsche Taycan Turbo around the court to celebrate her 13th WTA title victory. The World No. 1 defeated 2024 Australian Open champion Aryna Sabalenka in the final of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix and was gifted a German car.
The Polish star successfully defended her title in Stuttgart to mark her leap over Sabalenka at No. 1 in May last year.
As a tradition, the tournament winner took home a brand new Porsche car. Notably, Swiatek was awarded a blue Porsche Taycan Turbo S, much to the delight of fans, and even drove it around in style.
After a ride around, the tennis star beamed in joy as she left the car to receive her second prize and second out of the five titles, she received in 2023. The viral video was posted by WTA on their Instagram page with the caption, “You got a fast car.”

For the uninitiated, Iga Swiatek has won 16 titles, including four Grand Slam titles. More interestingly, she is also the favorite to win the French Open, after defending her crown last year. Despite her early exit at the Australian Open, the Polish star is still ranked No. 1 and is likely to play at the Porsche Grand Prix in May, aiming for a consecutive title win.
Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka in top seed for 2024 Dubai Open
Iga Swiatek and Australian Open champion Aryna Sabalenka took top seed at the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Championship. The competition, which starts on February 12, 2024, is said to feature all the top 10 players of the WTA Tour.
With the Tour swinging to the Middle East, the Abu Dhabi ATP 500 has already commenced and is to be followed by the WTA 1000 tournament in Doha. Iga Swiatek, who lost the Dubai title to Barbora Krejcikova in the final, would be hoping for an act of revenge as the Czech star heads for title defense.

Aryna Sabalenka enters the competition as the favorite after winning the Melbourne title, but she will be challenged by Elena Rybakina, Coco Gauff, and Jessica Pegula. Besides that, 18 of the top-20 players will feature in the competition.
