The 2024 Indian Wells started with some washed-up matches, with a few matches on the first day being suspended. However, the sun soon changed the course of matches, reducing the draw to a mere 32 players. 

Day 5 of the Indian Wells marks the start of the Round of 32 as the players fight for their spot in the pre-quarterfinals. The draw only gets interesting as almost all the matches are possible nail-biters featuring the top players.

On the men’s side, the day starts with a huge matchup between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Frances Tiafoe, both players who have done well in previous years. As the day progresses, the spotlight shifts to Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner, as both are facing exciting players for a spot in the next round.

The WTA draw isn’t half-bad either. The day starts with an Australian Open rematch between Iga Swiatek and Linda Noskova and moves on to the other players, who are eyeing the Round of 16 spot.

One of the first matches of the day on the men’s side is a huge one for the crowd, as two in-form players look to battle it out for the position in the next round. Frances Tiafoe has been dominating in the first round and will face Tsitsipas for a spot in the next.

However, the Greek has had a better season so far and looks to get one tournament win to continue for the rest of the year. The match promises excitement as the two players look to fight it out for a spot in the top 16.

Carlos Alcaraz takes on Felix Auger-Aliassime, in a battle of the rising stars

Another exciting matchup for the day is between Carlos Alcaraz and Felix Auger-Aliassime. Both players made their mark on the tennis world with a bang. While Alcaraz is still on top, Aliassime lagged to continue his form.
