Jannik Sinner credits Michael Schumacher’s doctor Riccardo Ceccarelli for helping him improve his mentality that has reflected in his performances
One of the recognized doctors in the F1 industry, Riccardo Ceccarelli has been working up close with Sinner for the last few months.

World No. 4 Jannik Sinner has absolutely set the stage on fire at the ongoing ATP Finals going past all his opponents in the group stage round. Beating the likes of Novak Djokovic, Holger Rune, and Stefanos Tsitsipas and thereby qualifying for the semi-finals as the group topper has got people talking about the current stunning mentality of the Italian stallion.
With that being said, Sinner has opened up in the press conference about the change that he has undergone in recent times. One of the recognized doctors in the F1 industry, Riccardo Ceccarelli has been working up close with Sinner for the last few months. Sinner said,
“It is very different from having a coach or a sports psychologist because in those cases you have a conversation with that person & try to find solutions.”
He added,
“What I do is different because we dedicate ourselves to solving exercises on a computer & we calculate the performance of my brain when it comes to finding solutions to the problems I encounter in these exercises.”
Sinner focused on how much he has been using this methodology repeating the processes which has also helped his brain to perform better and efficiently in extreme situations.

Dr. Riccardo Ceccarelli is one of the most recognized personnel in the F1 industry for the amount of contribution he has made to the sport. He started his sports physicist career way back in the year 1989 along with March Leyton House. He assisted top F1 drivers Ivan Capelli and Mauricio Gugelmin through the initial days of his career.
He is also the CEO of the company named, Formula Medicine which has worked tirelessly for the introduction of modern equipment into the F1 industry for improving the safety measures of the sport. They introduced the mechanism of collecting data based on track performance to improve mental performance leading to the birth of Mental Economy Training which to date is one of the most successful inventions in the athletes’ training industry.
