My role model has always been Federer, not only for his class but for the way he presents himself: the important thing is to surround yourself with the best people and face everything with a smile.Jannik Sinner said to Tennis World USA.
About Novak Djokovic and his ten Australian Open titles, Sinner said that the Serbian is from another series and that he is happy with what he has currently.
I don't think about it, he's from another series. I still have a lot to give. For now, I'm happy like this, to be able to hold this cup in my hand. I don't know if we are facing a changing of the guard, it is difficult to predict what will happen in the future. But I can say that I am happy to be part of the new generation because I am what sport needs.Jannik Sinner said.
It is worth mentioning that Sinner defeated Djokovic in the semifinals. The Italian scripted history as he became one of the rare players who have managed to beat Novak Djokovic in an Australian Open semifinal.

I'll finish doing the last few things and I'll fly out tonight, I'll rest a bit and then I'll get back to work. t was an important success for me and for my career, for my team, but it doesn't change anything about who I am. I'm a simple guy, I can't wait to get back to work.Jannik Sinner said.
The 22-year-old also talked about the feeling he had on the next morning of his Grand Slam victory. Sinner said that it felt quiet. He enjoyed time with his team members as they went for a walk, chit-chatted a bit, and then had a meal together.
