Controversies in sports never truly die out, even after the moment has passed. Recently, Jannik Sinner and his team have been in the limelight after the youngster withdrew from the Paris Masters.
Many players and coaches were unhappy with the poor scheduling of the ATP Open and suspected this was a reason for the withdrawal of the Italian. However, the Paris Masters’ director refuses responsibility for Jannik’s withdrawal.
At the 2023 Paris Masters, young Italian Jannik Sinner started his tournament with a dominant win against American Mackenzie McDonald. However, the match got over at 2:30 in the morning, and Sinner was scheduled to face his next opponent, Alex De Minaur, soon.
Surprisingly, the Italian soon released a message withdrawing from the tournament. As expected, many fans and tennis enthusiasts called out the scheduling team of the tournament for their poor scheduling.

Recently, at the Paris Masters, there was a day of intense matches, all of which were scheduled throughout the day. The night matches also ended pretty late, and the fans were kept waiting outside their stadiums for hours before they could watch the next match.
The young Italian sensation, Jannik Sinner, was one of the players who was prey to the ridiculous scheduling. After a late-night match, he was scheduled to face another player hours later. However, the youngster did withdraw from the tournament, saying that it was the right decision for his body with the Davis Cup and the ATP Finals coming up.
Even the coach of Sinner, Darren Cahill, was unhappy with the scheduling and called out the ATP for their poor scheduling. Not only that, but even fans and other players have supported the Italians in this matter.
Casper Rudd, Stan Wawrinka, and even Brad Gilbert commented on this matter, calling out the ATP for its continuous record of late matches. Jannik Sinner will now be seen in the Davis Cup, and the ATP finals are scheduled to take place in a few weeks.
