Vienna Open winner Jannik Sinner has enjoyed immense success this season. The World No.4 is one of the eight elite players to have qualified for the soon-to-begin ATP Finals in Turin. Sinner will square off against Greek ace Stefanos Tsitsipas in the first match on Sunday to kick-start the event.

Prior to his match on Sunday, Sinner featured in a press conference. A journalist asked Sinner if he feels fortunate to have a devoted fan club in the ‘Carota Boys’, which is unlike the fans of the World No.1 and 24-time Grand Slam winner, Novak Djokovic.

They're more famous than I am, to be honest.

It's great to have this dedicated fan club, to be honest.

He further added that his fan club is growing as well and that he’s happy for the growth of the ‘Carota Boys’.

Italian ace, Jannik Sinner’s fan club, which goes by the name, ‘Carota Boys’, consists of a bunch of the player’s fans who show up to his games dressed up in a carrot costume. They recently met up with Sinner in Turin prior to the start of the season-ending ATP Finals event on Sunday.

Jannik Sinner hopes to face Roger Federer in an exhibition match

World No.4, Jannik Sinner, is one big admirer of the 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer. The Italian recently revealed that he regrets never having played a match against the Swiss maestro.

Federer retired from his career as a tennis professional back in 2022 after he played his last match for Team Europe at the Laver Cup. Famous for his legendary career, which saw the breaking of several records and replacing them with new ones, Federer stepped aside from his glistening run as a tennis player.

I've been lucky in life, but I miss Federer. I accept it, he's part of the game. Official matches are no longer possible, perhaps in the future we will face each other in exhibitions.

Admitting the fact that he can not play a professional match against Federer, Jannik Sinner hopes to play an exhibition match against the former World No.1 soon. After an epic season run this year, the 22-year-old Italian looks to finish strong at the ATP Finals. He hopes to start the next year on a great note as well so that he can reach newer heights than in 2023.
