There’s no stopping the celebrations for Jannik Sinner and Italians. Since his monumental win at the 2024 Australian Open, the 22-year-old has been busy with events to commemorate his historic achievement.

The World No. 4 broke a plethora of records and brought his country its first singles Grand Slam title in 14 years. The last player to do so was Francesca Schiavone who won the 2010 French Open. Before Francesca, Adriano Panatta with his Roland Garros title in 1976 was the sole Italian to win a Major in the Open Era.

The legend of Sinner has only grown ever since he became more consistent. Endorsement deals with Gucci, Nike, Rolex, and lately Formula 1, have made him a hotshot globally. Yet, there’s one thing that the Italian has not let go of. Staying away from social media.

A casual scroll through his social media profiles will give an idea of him posting only about his matches or paid promotion posts. Nothing from a personal end is uploaded by the Italian. He even admitted that he would never make anything public about his personal life including his relationship status.

Speaking on similar lines, the Italian showed his maturity during his latest press conference in Rome. He strictly advised his fellow youngsters to stay cautious on these platforms.

I always tell young people to be careful with social networks because things are projected that are not true. People convey that they have a fantastic life when in reality things may be going badly for them. I don't like them because I don't think they show the truth and, honestly, I live much better without them and I will continue that way.
Said Sinner.
