A little girl describes Daniil Medvedev as a ‘scary pirate’ while Jannik Sinner earns a sweet tag during a fun session titled ‘Name the Player: Kids Edition‘. 

During the fun session, other players such as Holger Rune, Sebastian Korda, and Alex de Minaur took turns, decoding the clues provided by the girl.

The young girl began by painting an awkward description of Carlos Alcaraz in his 2023 US Open kit. Then Rune, Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Jannik Sinner guessed it right, while Korda failed. In the next queue, she got Sinner’s depiction right but said Medvedev looked like a scary pirate in his 2024 Australian Open outfit.

He has little long bracelets on his arms with little round ticks on them. His arms look a bit like medium thin and big and he looks really strong. He has brown hair and it’s a bit like daddy's.
The little girl said

Interestingly enough, Sinner, Rune, and Augar-Alliassime got it right by saying it was Alcaraz, but Korda answered that it was Rune.

The second picture was of Jannik Sinner, in which the girl claimed to have Italian carrot-colored and sweet potato hair.

He has fuzzy hair and he has black eyes. He has gingery hair and it's fuzzy. It’s fuzzy and curly. His hair looks a little bit like a carrot and sweet potato. He has a bit of a funny smile.
The little girl said

Zhang and Andrey Rublev expressed a bit of confusion about the color of Sinner’s hair but affirmed it must be Italian.

He has a green top and he’s wearing a watch. He has a beard and he has brown eyes. It’s a black bit of a long beard. He has a mustache. He looks like a really scary pirate.

There was confusion among the players as Rune, Korda, and De Minaur suggested it was Sinner while Rublev was convinced it was Alexander Zverev. Furthermore, Zhang inferred that it must be Karen Khachanov.

Daniil Medvedev to face Tommy Paul in the semifinals of Indian Wells

Daniil Medvedev will face Tommy Paul in the semi-finals of the Indian Wells Masters. Medvedev stands as a clear favorite to win, while Paul, the only American dark horse, will aim for an upset.

Medvedev will be hoping for his first title this season after coming very close in the Australian Open and Dubai Tennis championship. He will be aiming for the Indian Wells crown in the California desert.

On the other hand, Paul reached the last eight in Adelaide, exited in the third round of the Australian Open, won the Dallas Open, and reached the finals of the Delray Beach Open.
